Mr. M.Fradkov, Chairman of the RF Government signed an order on amending the “Industry” chapter in the list of public joint-stock companies with the RF shareholder position (concerning nomination of candidates for election to management bodies, auditing and counting boards, voting at general meetings of shareholders on issues of their formation etc) to be identified by the RF Government, the Chairman of the RF Government or on his instruction by the Deputy Chairman of the RF Government.

18.07.06: “ROSOBORONEXPORT” SIGNED $700 MLN CONTRACTS FOR ROTORCRAFT SUPPLY

In 2006 the “Rosoboronexport” signed contracts for rotorcraft supply totally amounted to over $700 mln. These contracts will provide work for Russian helicopter-building industry for three to four years, as the “Rosoboronexport” General Director Sergei Chemezov said to an ARMS-TASS correspondent at the “Farnborough-2006”.

According to “Commersant” newspaper, the issue is about selling to Chinese navy 40 assault Ka-29 helicopters, more than 20 radar-surveillance Ka-31 helicopters and 15 anti-submarine amphibious Be-200 aircraft equipped with “Sea Serpent” modular sighting-search system. “Rosoboronexport” is expected to sign appropriate contracts in autumn this year.

The Board of “Rostvertol” made a decision to increase its authorized share capital and issue additional shares of the company. As became known to “Kommersant” the additional shares will be issued in favor of the state industrial and investment group “OPK”Obronprom”, the management of which announced its intention to buy the blocking stake even last year, and then the majority share holding of the only private aircraft-building company in Russia.

Among the major "wreckers" of nature are energy companies (OAO Irkutskenergo, RAO UES of Russia) and metallurgical plants (OAO MMC Norilsk Nickel), while the least harmful are mechanical engineering and food plants (OAO Cherkizovsky Meat Plant, OAO Kazan Helicopter Plant).
